Chandra's Quick and Easy Steamed Greens
Ingredients: 1 bunch fresh greens (collards or kale), washed and chopped 1 small clove garlic, minced 1 medium onion, sliced thin 1/2 tsp. ground herbal poultry seasoning 2 Tbsp. olive oil Bragg's Liquid Aminos, herbal sea salt, or tamari soy sauce to taste Spritz of fresh lime juice to taste 1 Tbsp. tomato sauce or natural BBQ sauce (optional) Dash cayenne pepper to taste (optional)
Directions: Boil water in vegetable steamer. Put greens in steamer basked with onion and garlic on top. Steam until greens are tender. In a separate pot combine steamed greens with remaining ingredients. Serve. |
